WHAT IS FÆLLESGRO?
FællesGro is a community supported agriculture (CSA) that connects organic farms directly to consumers in Copenhagen. As a member you receive fresh, organic produce every week directly from one of our farms to your pick up points in either Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Østerbro, or Dyssegård.
Our harvest season runs from June to December.
Below you can read much more about our different memberships, what’s in the harvest bag and what a CSA is.
PriCE and Season
A central part of a CSA is that the members pay for the year’s harvest in advance. By committing to a vegetable membership for either the summer season or the whole season, you support the local, organic farms and ensure your freshly harvested vegetables for pick-up every week.
As a member of FællesGro 2025 you get to pick up fresh vegetables from week 23 in June to week 50 in December.
You commit to the above period and pay the total amount divided into 6 smaller instalments, which will be deducted from today's date and 6 months forward.
NOTE! It is not possible to unsubscribe or terminate your membership after registration. In that case, we will invoice you for the remaining amount.
Membership costs 180 dkk/week.
Possibility for 0, 2 or 4 weeks of vacation, which you can place freely within the entire season.
Vacation
When you choose a membership, you can choose with or without vacation. If you choose a membership with vacation, you will receive a link via. email shortly before the harvest season starts, where you can select the weeks you will be on holiday.
Eggs
You can also choose to get freshly laid, organic eggs as an addition to your harvest bag every week or every other week. 10 eggs cost 44 dkk.
Shared membership
If you think it would suit you better to share your harvest bag with someone, FællesGro will happily facilitate that. You can find a friend to share with here or send us an e-mail at info@faellesgro.dk.

When and Where
The harvest is distributed in four different neighborhoods in greater Copenhagen every week.
Tuesdays from 15:30-18:
- Nørrebro (at Kølsters Tolv Haner)
- Vesterbro (on the little square by Sønder Boulevard 58B)
Wednesdays from 15:30-18:
- Dyssegård (Ellebakken 29)
- Østerbro / ØsterGro (Æbeløgade 4)
When you sign up, you choose which neighborhood, you wish to join.
It’s not possible to pick up your harvest in other neighborhoods than the one, you are a member of.
You cannot cancel a bag unless you are on holiday, but you are welcome to send a neighbour, friends or family in your place if there are weeks when you are unable to pick it up yourself.
In all neighbourhoods, you can also pay a small fee to have your bag packed and set aside for you available to then pick up later, until 8pm if there are days when you cannot make it before 6pm.
COmmunity supported agriculture
As mentioned, FællesGro is inspired by the concept of Community Supported Agriculture or CSA in short. This model of selling is wellknown and widely used in the US and some of our neighboring countries. Yet, in Denmark it’s not very wellknown yet, and that’s what we’re here to change!
At its core, a CSA works by members buying their portion of the harvest in advance. By paying ahead of time, farmers get greater financial security and more freedom in planting a more diverse crop selection as well as experimentation with new crops. When the harvest is due, the members then collect their fresh produce, usually every week for the entire harvest season.
Normally, a CSA works by selling produce to locals around their farm, but with FællesGro as an urban distribution platform, we want to make it possible for city dwellers to support small scale organic farms as well - and of course get freshly harvested, organic produce directly from those farms!
Everyone has an important role in the FællesGro community:
Members are the foundation of the community by paying in advance for their portion of the harvest, so that the farmers have more financial security to plan, grow and experiment with organic produce.
Farmers provide fresh organic produce through their knowledge, hard work and respect for nature – and they host two annual farm visit for members.
FællesGro is the glue that connects the producers with the members and ensures the harvest is brought to town every week. FællesGro also facilitates communication between the two parties so that all participants get the most out of the fellowship. Furthermore, FællesGro organizes and distribute newsletters, vegetable descriptions and recipe suggestions. Finally, FællesGro strengthens the member community and the local community through coordinating events in the form of inspiring and engaging lectures, workshops, shared dinners and farm visits throughout the season.
